Gurugram, one of India's top real estate markets, has seen an impressive surge in new project launches, with investments reaching Rs 88,000 crore in 2024. This is a significant rise from the Rs 45,000 crore recorded in 2023. Developers are focusing on upmarket luxury projects, catering to the growing demand for larger flats and upscale living.

According to data from Haryana RERA, while Gurugram saw 239 projects worth Rs 64,000 crore in 2017, the number of new launches has dropped to 124 in 2024. However, the value of these projects has nearly doubled to Rs 88,000 crore, signaling a shift towards high-value luxury developments. Prominent developers like DLF, Signature Global, Godrej Properties, Sobha, TARC, and M3M have all made notable contributions to the city's real estate scene in the past year.

This sharp increase in costs is attributed to rising demand for luxury properties, as more buyers seek spacious homes that reflect an upscale lifestyle. With Gurugram’s economy booming and infrastructure growing, developers are now concentrating on large-scale, luxury projects that meet the changing needs of homebuyers.

Gurugram remains the frontrunner in the luxury real estate segment within the NCR region. The city accounted for 87% of all luxury property launches, showcasing the increasing appeal of high-end developments.
